Locals Clearly Oppose the Proposed TC Energy Pumped Storage Plant at Meaford

GBA continues to work closely with Save Georgian Bay (SGB) who have gathered almost 3,400 signatures on a petition to oppose the TC Energy project, a proposed hydroelectric pumped storage facility near the Meaford shoreline. Read about the local opposition here.
Although the substantive project changes to address our collective environmental concerns were a step in the right direction, GBA and SGB have pointed out that the project will increase, not decrease, CO2 emissions and is therefore not “green” at all.
