Wanted to make sure you saw the article in today’s Globe and Mail regarding the great Lakes Headwaters. While Georgian Bay was not specifically mentioned in the article it is not without its water quality challenges including sporadic outbreaks of toxic blue-green algae. GBA is working through the bi-national Great Lakes Water Quality Agreement and Ontario’s Great Lakes Protection Act to identify ways in which we can safeguard our precious water resources.
