GBA writes to Minister TooToo
The GBA recently read with interest and some concern the Fisheries and Ocean’s Standing Senate Committee’s Report, An Ocean of Opportunities: Aquaculture in Canada, July 2015 and wrote to The Honourable Hunter Tootoo, Minister of Fisheries and Oceans Canada to share our views on the Senate Report and the future of freshwater aquaculture in the hope that the Canadian government will take these into consideration as they develop a Federal Aquaculture Regulations Act.
