US Congressional Members letter on continued funding of the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative
Please find here a letter to Congressional appropriators that was sent today asking for continued funding of the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative at the $300 million level, following Trump Administration’s call to eliminate the program.
The list of 63 signatories, that includes Republican and Democrat representatives from the eight Great Lakes states of Illinois, Indiana, Minnesota, Michigan, Ohio, New York, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin, as well as California, New Hampshire, and Washington D.C., shows strong bi-partisan support for renewed funding.
