Crown Land Use Permits for Docks and Boathouses - GBA submission and MNRF response
This spring we wrote to the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry with some suggestions on how to make their regulations re Land Use Permits for docks and boathouses more reasonable (click here for the letter). While not responding to all of our recommendations the Minister did indicate that replacement of existing docks (provided they are the same size as the dock being replaced) are exempt from the LUP requirement (click here for the response).
