Graydon Smith is the former mayor of the Town of Bracebridge and therefore has strong local knowledge and familiarity with the issues that need to be addressed in the riding, see here.
Both Michael Mantha, Algoma-Manitoulin, and France Gélinas, Nickel Belt, were re-elected with strong margins.
