June 22nd Water Levels
The water levels across the Great Lakes are above their long-term average levels for June. Lakes Michigan-Huron, St. Clair, and Erie are all above their levels from last year by 3 to 4 inches. Lake Michigan-Huron is forecasted to remain at the current level into July.
Lake Superior’s outflow into the St. Mary’s River and Lake Michigan-Huron’s outflow into the St. Clair River are predicted to be above average in June.
